Birds Fly South, Bears Hibernate

You know what is more boring than watching paint dry? You guess it, watching water flow, watching the tides come in one by one, gentle on the ocean, yet creating such a great impact when it crashes against the rocks.

Back when I was young, I had always thought about emigrating to somewhere else when I'm older. But now, now I would be thinking, what a dumb thought. It is something which is not very feasible. Why? Giving up everything you have here isn't really easy at all, family, friends, job, life, oh wait maybe not life, because you can get a better one elsewhere. Next, you would have to secure a job there first before going over, well not a must but it is better than doing everything at the last minute. And there is also the issue of accommodation. But then, no matter how you look at it, there ain't much reason for one to remain here. According to wikipedia, here are the push and pull factors for people emigrating.

Push Factors
* War or other armed conflict
* Famine or drought
* Disease
* Poverty
* Political corruption
* Disagreement with politics
* Religious fundamentalism / religious intolerance
* Natural disasters
* Discontent with the natives, such as frequent harassment, bullying, and abuse
* Discontent with immigration rate, causing frequent harassment, bullying, and abuse for home populations
* Lack of employment opportunities
* Lack of various rights
* Goal of spreading one's own culture and religion

Pull Factors
* Higher incomes
* Lower taxes
* Better weather
* Better availability of employment
* Better medical facilities
* Better education facilities
* Better behaviour among people
* Family reasons
* Political stability
* Religious tolerance
* Relative freedom
* National prestige

But basically, I've narrowed down the long list to the few reason that would be the cause of me emigrating.

Push Factors
* Political corruption (alright not this, but it's here for a reason)
* Disagreement with politics
* Discontent with immigration rate, causing frequent harassment, bullying, and abuse for home populations
* Lack of employment opportunities
* Lack of various rights

Pull Factors
* Higher incomes
* Better weather
* Better availability of employment
* Better medical facilities
* Better behaviour among people
* Relative freedom

The government only cares about improving the economy, they do not even give a shit about the people. You might say "What's wrong with improving the economy?", what's wrong is the economy improves, but how is it going to benefit you when you have no job? Well this is happening in many other countries, not just ours, foreigners invading and stuff, so why not be the foreigner who invades? All of this to make the country look good on the outside, when inside it is just a slum. Like a perfectly flawless looking apple infested with worms on the inside.

If there is ever a change, poof, I'm off. Where to? Well, we shall see then. Sometimes, to achieve something, sacrifices have to be made, just like what this country is doing. To survive in this harsh world, one must be harsh himself. Just like the saying goes, "人不为己 天诛地灭". It just seem to me that THEY are trying to create an all elites society, but from what I see, it is going towards an entirely opposite direction. Why stay with a ship which you already know is going to sink? Alright maybe this isn't a good example, the ship might not be sinking, just that the people inside are dying from a terrible disease. What, you're so smart, you come up with one then.

I've already lost all hopes, this could only happen if your hopes are repeatedly crushed, crushed in the worst possible ways. This reminds me of a comic strip I've posted here before.

To all of you, FBI, CIA etc., wondering what country I'm from, you can find me in Neverland. But if you are all smart enough to track my ip you'll probably realize that I'm actually from the North pole, residing with Santa.

It's sad (so sad),
So sad,
It's a sad sad situation...

Fate

Lets talk about fate. Are our lives pre-determined by fate? Or is it just some kind of excuse for those who failed terribly some point in life? If our lives are decided by fate, then why is fate so cruel? Has it always been this way? Enough questions, so many questions, yet we do not have the answer for them. Just one question, one question for those who believe in fate itself. Why fight so hard to survive, when everything in your life is already decided for you? You might as well just give up on life, since it too, has given up on you. It's a harsh fact, but that is how it is in life, you got to bite the bullet.

But then, some of you may be saying, "Oh everything is fated, but we can still change it if we work hard enough.". That would be one of the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. No offense, but it would be like saying you're a Christian, but you do not believe in God. You get what I am saying? You are severely contradicting yourself over here. So the golden question, do I believe in fate? There is absolutely no way I am going to let my already miserable life be decided by fate. Some of you might had succumbed to fate, but not me, not ever. I will do all I can to fight my way out of the grasps of fate, because in the first place, there is no such thing as fate.

I spent six hours a day, ten days in total, staring out at the open sea, at Malaysia. Not to mention the other six hours I spent doing other pointless things. That would make up sixty hours, exactly two and a half day of my life wasted. It really makes one wonder, wonder about countless things, especially if it was during the wee hours. You would really feel emo, extremely emo. Now I know, that the scenes you normally see in movies or dramas, where the actors/actresses would go stroll along the seaside to "relieve stress", is actually and in fact...BULLSHIT. Relief stress? My God not only does it not work, it is actually the opposite of stress relief.

You can never trust these movies/dramas and take it to be true now, can you?

A Sad Sad Situation

It's sad (so sad),
So sad,
It's a sad sad situation...

This is the song I heard before I booked in on Thursday night, imagine how depressed one would feel. And furthermore, there wasn't anyone around because it is the eve of a public holiday. In the next day, during my break, I was watching Elton John's 60th birthday "concert" on Channel 5. There he was, singing this very song, I mean like, what are the odds of this? It is as if God was mocking me. For the next few days, this song remains stuck in my head, and it will probably remain there for the next few months, no, the next few years.

A quote from someone I know, "To bring down a big organization, it is best to do so from within.". But we're not just talking about a "big organization" here, it would be foolish to refer to THEM as just a "big organization". I don't want to go into further details.

Propaganda

Just like how we were made to believe that the economy wasn't as bad as we thought it was, just like how we were made to believe that THEY, had everything under control, just like how we were made to believe that THIS, this is for the good of our country, just like how we were made to believe that we would FALL without them in the office.

Amazing, isn't it? It just takes so little to brainwash us into believing in all these crap. And here I was, thinking for the past 20 years that our technology wasn't so advance to perform such a feat. The human brain, something so strong, yet, surprisingly weak. To be able to succumb to just verbal messages, it just shows how weak we are, mentally.

If someday I were to suddenly disappear without a trace, then it is probably because the "secret service agents" came knocking on my door. I wouldn't be surprised if that really happened.

BACK IN BUSINESS

Looking out at the vast ocean all night really gets me thinking about all sort of things. A thousand and one questions "why, why, why, why, why", but only one answer, "I don't know". I need answers, but where can I get them? How can I get them? By achieving nirvana perhaps?

THAT organization really screwed me over countless times, so much that I feel that I can't just sit by the side and do nothing. The least I can do is to execute my freedom of speech (BTW I'm not ranting or anything, just speaking honestly from my heart), or what's left of it. I'm not trying to be the next Mr. Brown, I just wish to speak up. Pardon my language but seriously, I see no benefits staying in this shithole of a country you guys call home. To 4 million other people, it may be home, but to me, it is no different from any other land on earth. There are greener pastures out there.

Peace out...

I haven't posted anything for some time because...

I've been working on a new template, well not really, just thinking of making a new one. This is the true reason of my inactiveness...
